Dark Agave Nectar can be used in poultry, meat, and seafood dishes. Dark Agave makes a great topping for pancakes and waffles. Agave Nectar is a pure and delicious alternative to sugar. Unlike honey Agave Nectar dissolves readily in cold liquids. Agave Nectar is sweeter than sugar and has a lower glycemic index. Agave Nectar has a very long shelf life (about two years) without refrigeration. Use 1/3 to 2/3 cup of agave nectar in place of one cup of sugar. When using Agave Nectar in baking you should reduce your oil by one-half. |
